Andrew Fisher QC and Gurdeep Garcha represent Dudley man cleared of killing drug dealer
Andrew Fisher QC and Gurdeep Garcha represented an 18 year old Dudley man who was charged with the murder of a drug dealer during a robbery at his flat in January 2018.
The prosecution alleged that a gang of heavily armed offenders burst into the deceased’s home at 2.30am in order to steal drugs and money. During the ensuing struggle the victim received fatal stab wounds.
The defendant admitted presence in the flat but denied participation in the fatal assault.
He was acquitted of murder and manslaughter in less than 4 hours following an 8 week trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
