Called in 2008, thereafter spent 2 years as a paralegal attached to a Chambers in Accra, Ghana. Called to the Ghana Bar in 2010 and practised in Ghana for 5 years. Her main areas of practice were crime, family and property law : represented clients at trial and dealt with all manner of applications, both led and as sole advocate.
Undertook pupillage with Laura Hobson and joined Citadel as a tenant in 2016.
Magistrates' Court work has included representing various clients charged with assault, harassment, all manner of motoring offences, theft and public order offences.
Crown Court work has included bail applications, various cases listed for sentence, POCA proceedings, appeals against sentence and conviction. Has been instructed in trials in the Crown Court for s.20, burglary and robbery. She recently secured an acquittal in a robbery trial at Mold Crown Court.
Has successfully represented clients in the First Tier Tribunal and Upper Tier Tribunal in both immigration and asylum matters.
A member of the Ghana Bar, therefore is able to offer advice in cases concerning any issue of Ghanaian law, and represent clients in Ghana.
