Specialist criminal advocate instructed by both prosecution and defence in the full range of serious criminal cases. Grade 4 prosecutor. Receives instructions to prosecute or defend in cases involving homicide, firearms offences and other serious violence, importation and supply of drugs, money laundering, large scale fraud and dishonesty, rape and other sexual offences against adults and children (recent and historic, familial and non-familial).
Regularly instructed in cases with complex factual background and/or many defendants.  

Recent instructions have included :

  • represented a defendant charged with importation of heroin with a £ multi million street value
  • instructed to represent a defendant charged with very substantial money laundering charges, associated with large scale drug supply
  • represented a defendant charged with offences of violence, and false imprisonment of his partner
  • represented a defendant who was prosecuted by Customs and Excise for conspiracy to evade duty on importation of cigarettes, on a massive scale
