Teenager who Stabbed Mum to Death Convicted of Manslaughter

Jamie Scott represented a teenager acquitted of murder after the prosecution accepted a plea to Diminished Responsibility.

The 19 year old admitted manslaughter at Leicester Crown Court while he was on trial for murdering his mother, who he stabbed over eighty times.
The defence argued he killed her whilst suffering diminished responsibility as a consequence of autism. On the sixth day of his trial, the prosecution conceded that.He will be sentenced at a later date.
