
Emily Andrew
Career overview
Emily graduated with First Class Honours in Law with Forensic Psychology (LLB) from the University of Worcester in 2022. Emily then went on to complete her Barrister Training Course (Masters), graduating with a distinction in 2023. She joined Citadel in April 2025 upon successful completion of her pupillage under the supervision of Graham Russell.
Emily has significant experience working with vulnerable individuals, including children and adults with disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.
Practice Summary
Emily prosecutes and defends hearings in the Magistrates, Youth, and Crown Courts. During her pupillage, she assisted senior members of chambers in drafting complex legal arguments. In addition, she prosecuted some of the sentencing hearings for ‘Operation Eaglesview’, relating to the Staffordshire riots in August 2024.
Recently, Emily secured a suspended sentence for a 24-year-old subject to the mandatory minimum provisions for possession of offensive weapons and bladed articles.
Emily is a Grade 2 CPS Advocate. She also accepts instructions for regulatory matters. She has previously been instructed on cases involving the gambling commission and housing disputes.
