Jamie Scott secured the conviction of a defendant accused of rape and robbery after a seven-day trial at Birmingham Crown Court.
The defendant had arranged to visit a prostitute in Ladywood in the summer of 2024, only to attend with his face covered, wearing gloves and carrying a loaded revolver. He demanded money from his victim and her friend before raping both of them, dismantling the doorbell camera and fleeing, leaving the gun at the scene.
The defendant will be sentenced in the new year.
